Activated carbon pillows are used to remove dissolved contaminants that cause odor, discoloration, and declining water quality in lobster tanks and seafood display systems.

In supermarket, seafood market, and restaurant lobster tank systems, organic waste builds quickly and can cause tanks to look dirty even when filtration is running. Carbon helps remove these compounds and keeps water looking clean.

Carbon works as a secondary filtration layer after mechanical filtration. It removes dissolved compounds that filter pads cannot capture.
